Check Status Sarawak Basic Needs Assistance (SKAS) 2026
Sarawak Basic Needs Assistance (SKAS) 2026 is a financial aid initiative by the Sarawak Government aimed at supporting households and individuals earning RM5,000 and below. The assistance is provided to help eligible recipients purchase essential food items.
Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be Sarawakian holding a ‘K’ identification card and residing in Sarawak.

SKAS 2026 recipients are determined based on the recipient data for Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) Phase 1, 2026.
The assistance value ranges from RM300 to RM950, depending on the recipient’s category as stated below:

Household Category: RM950;

Single Category: RM300; and
-
Senior Citizen Category: RM500.
- Anak Sarawak holding a K Identification Card and residing in Sarawak.
- Recipient information is based on data from the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) Phase 1, 2026.
Category 1: Household (Isi Rumah)
- Married or Single Parent/Widow/Widower/Divorcee with eligible children;
- Monthly gross income of RM5,000 or below; and No age limit.
- Single or Single Parent/Widow/Widower/Divorcee with no eligible children;
- Monthly gross income of RM2,500 or below;
- and Single age between 21-59 years old or single Persons with Disabilities (PWD) aged 19-59.
- Single or single Parent/Widow/Widower/Divorcee without eligible children;
- Monthly gross income of RM5,000 or below; and Age 60 and above.
- Make sure the S Pay Global account are active. If you are the new user, install the S Pay Global app and active the account. Refer to the registration guide here: [ Video ].
- Open the S PAY GLOBAL app and acknowledge the SKAS assistance claim request. This acknowledgement only needs to be done once to enable the receipt of assistance for all three phases.
