Post-Natal Assistance (Bantuan Ibu Bersalin)

Bantuan Ibu Bersalin (BIB) is an initiative by Sarawak Government with a grant of RM450.00 to every mother who gives birth to a child born in Sarawak, to assist the mother's needs such as postnatal care during the confinement period, begun in 2020 regardless of race, religion or socio-economic status.
  1. Copy of applicant’s Identity Card (Front and Back);
  2. Copy of Spouse’s/Guardian’s Identity Card (Front and Back);
  3. Copy of Marriage Certificate if the applicant is not ‘K’ status;
  4. Copy of Mother’s Health Record (Front Page);
  5. Copy of Front Page of applicant’s Account Book or Account Statement;
  6. Copy of Doctor’s Confirmation / Discharge Note / Baby’s Birth Certificate.
 
(Note: All copies of documents must be certified by Government Officer Grade 41 and above/Head of Village /Head of Community).
  1. Malaysian citizens
  2. Mother holds Sarawak identity card with ‘K status or wife to a Sarawak identity card holder with ‘K’ status (Sarawak Connection)
  3. Gave birth within or outside of Sarawak
  4. Pregnancy age reaches twenty two (22) weeks and above until 3 months after delivery.
Free of charge.
  1. You can apply online through iSarawakCare portal; or Service Sarawak Portal
  2. Submit manual application form to State Welfare Departments, District offices, Early Childhood Development Division, KPWK (Kuching Division Only).
