KUCHING: A group of evergreen musicians called ‘Ikon Buskers’ kick started a series of eight ‘live’ performances for the Sarawak Craft Festival 2015 at the Kuching Waterfront on Friday night.

Playing a wide range of songs such as ‘Hotel California’ by the Eagles to ‘Anak Kampung’ by Jimmy Palikat, Ikon Buskers certainly set the right mood for visitors who throng the rows of local handicraft booths.

Last night, it was Zaid Ahmad, a talented local musician, who took the stage and he will be giving way to a band ‘Inderaloka’ for tonight’s vibes.

On Sept 21, the stage is set for a sape group performance while on Sept 22, Zaid will make a return performance.

The live shows will however take a break on Sept 23-24 to observe Hari Raya Aidiladha and will continue on Sept 25 with a sape performance.

On the second last day of the festival on Sept 26, Inderaloka will again take centrestage before wrapping up the event on Sept 27 with Ikon Buskers.
