3. Boundary Demarcation
In 2009, demarcation work was carried out on 52km area in perimeter of the Kuching
Wetland National Park Boundary (Ramsar Site) was carried out.
4. Study Tour to Lower Kinabatangan-Segama River, Ramsar Site in Sabah
The study tour was held from 6 - 11 October 2009 involving six (6) officers from the
Department. The objective of the study tour was to gain and share knowledge from Sabah
Ramsar Site Management and experience the popular ‘Homestay’ of Orang Sungai
traditional live at Sukau, Sabah.
