12. Akaun Belum Terima (ABT) and Security Deposit (Deposit Khas Jabatan)
The compilations of Akaun Belum Terima (ABT) were received from Regional Sarawak
Forestry Offices, Forest Department Headquarter, Regional Forest Offices and National
Parks Offices. A half-yearly report comprising ABT-1 and ABT-2 was send to State Treasury
Department. Based on ABT-2 report, the amount of (Forest) Outstanding Bill as on 31
December 2009 was RM2,145,582.62 and the amount of Security Deposit (A07505) was
RM9,572,152.65.
13. Revenue Reconciliation
The Department also assisted, checked and verified monthly revenue reconciliation which
had been done by Sarawak Forestry Corporation or respective revenue collecting PTJ and
forwarded them to State Treasury Department.
14. New Directive/Ruling for Industries
a) DF Circular No. 5/2008 – Revised First Schedule of the Forests Ordinance [Section
52(2)] on rates of royalty for produce taken under license was issued on 29 October 2008
and implemented on 1 January 2009 (Appendix B).

b) DF Circular No. 6/2008 – Plastic Tags for Logs and Pole Size Timber issued on 7
November 2008 and implemented on 1 January 2009.
