5. Revenue Auditing at National Parks, Nature Reserves, Wildlife Centers and Park Booking
Office
Auditing was conducted at 19 revenue collecting centres or Pusat Tanggungjawab (PTJ). The
objective was to ensure revenue due to the government was collected and managed
properly according to the Treasury Instruction, National Parks and Nature Reserves
Ordinance, 1998.
The respective PTJ were informed of the findings of the non-compliances and
recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement of the revenue
collecting system as well as assisting the respective PTJ to recover any outstanding or
unpaid bills. Revenue collected from respective PTJ is as shown in Table 19.
