Strategic Plan 2025 - 2030 | MEITD

This aims to expand, upgrade, and modernize educational infrastructure to ensure equitable access
to quality education for all communities, with a particular focus on rural, remote, and underserved
areas in Sarawak. Infrastructure development efforts include constructing, renovating, and equipping
schools, training centres, and higher education institutions to create safe, inclusive, and conducive
                  learning environments.

Beyond basic facilities, this objective emphasizes the integration of state-of-the-art resources such
as smart classrooms, digital learning hubs, STEM and TVET laboratories, and community-based
learning centres. Strengthening transportation networks, boarding facilities, and digital connectivity
further ensures that students, especially those from marginalized communities, have uninterrupted
                  access to learning opportunities.

Additionally, this objective foster multi-stakeholder collaboration, engaging government agencies,
industry players, community organisations, and education institutions to support sustainable and
demand-driven infrastructure development. By prioritizing educational infrastructure, MEITD aims to
lay the foundation for lifelong learning, workforce development, and economic growth, ensuring that
Sarawak ’s education ecosystem meets global standards and local needs.

To bridge geographic and socio-economic engagement, academic excellence, and skills
disparities in education by developing development.
