Primary School-Going Children Of CM Dept’s Staff Receive Assistance

KUCHING: Eighty-six children of employees of the Chief Minister’s Department received schooling assistance during a simple ceremony held at the State Operations Room of Wisma Bapa Malaysia here yesterday.
The items were presented by the department’s Human Resources Unit director, Datu William Patrick Nyigor, in connection with the ‘Back to School 2018’ programme run by the Chief Minister’s Department Employees Support Service (KSP) in collaboration with Chief Minister’s Department Staff Club.
It was one of the initiatives under the KSP’s ‘We Care, We Share’ programme to relieve the burden of staff under the Chief Minister’s Department’s target group of Grade 14 and below, with a household income below RM3,000 and children who are in or entering primary school next year.
The purchase of these basic school necessitieswas made possible by the donation of the caring staff of Chief Minister’s Department as well as members of the Chief Minister’s Department Staff Club.
