KUCHING: Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) Sarawak Chapter is having a Mini Sarawak Matta Travel Fair on Sept 5-7 at the new wing of Boulevard Shopping Mall from 10am to 9pm daily.

This premier event is scheduled as a smaller version of the Matta Travel Fair held last March. There will be 30 booths from 17 exhibitors, said organising chairperson Lina Tsen.

The event is concurrently held with the Matta Fair in Kuala Lumpur and In-House Mini Matta Travel Fair in Miri.

“The shifting of Matta Travel Fair to Mini Matta Fair is to focus on Sarawak agents and giving opportunity for them to promote their services extensively. This is the second fair for this year. Entrance is free,” said Tsen.

Participants for the fair are: Cat City Holidays Sdn Bhd, Reliance, Ming Ming Travel Services Sdn Bhd, Orient Holidays Sdn Bhd, Multiclients Travels Sdn Bhd, Borneo Exploration Tours and Travel Sdn Bhd, Sak Soon Travel Agencies Sdn Bhd, Pin Sing Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd, Inter-Continental Travel Centre Sdn Bhd, Great Leap Tours Sdn Bhd, TH Travel and Services Sdn Bhd, Tour Exotica Sdn Bhd, Ibanika Tours and Travel Sdn Bhd, Tanahmas Travel, Airworld Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd, Esturia Vacation Club and Bank of China.

Also present at the press conference were Matta Sarawak Chapter chairperson Dayang Azizah Abang Zaidan, vice chairman Chai Foh Chin and secretary Chris Kon.
