3. REGIONAL OFFICE BINTULU
i. Investigation on illegal extraction and possession of logs and hewn timber.
ii. A range of seizures were made on log, equipment related to illegal logging operation
and handed over to Sarawak Forestry Corporation for further investigation.
iii. Boundary maintenance was carried out in two (2) areas which are situated at Bukit
Tiban National Park and Similajau National Park.
iv. Planting of Rhu Laut species at the coastal area in Bintulu was only carried out at
Kuala Balingian, Mukah covering an area of 3.30 ha.
