Effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement are critical to ensuring that Sarawak ’s
education, innovation, and talent development ecosystem remains responsive, inclusive, and aligned
with industry, academic, and societal needs. This strategic objective focuses on strengthening
partnerships among government agencies, industries, academia, research institutions, and
international organisations to drive policy effectiveness, workforce development, and economic
transformation.

By fostering multi-sectoral collaboration, MEITD aims to leverage expertise, resources, and global
best practices to accelerate Sarawak ’s progress toward a high-income, knowledge-driven economy
under PCDS 2030. This initiative also emphasizes public-private partnerships (PPPs), cross-border
academic collaborations, and industry engagement, ensuring that Sarawak remains competitive in a
rapidly evolving global landscape.

Strategic engagement extends beyond policy alignment—it includes active involvement in
international networks, capacity-building programs, joint research initiatives, and technology
transfers that enable Sarawak to remain at the forefront of education, innovation, and workforce
development.
