c. Salt Lick Study in Lanjak Entimau Wild Life Sanctuary (LEWS)
This study was conducted to
determine the physical
characteristics (macro/micro
habitat) of salt lick, diversity of
wildlife visiting salt lick and visiting
rates of wildlife.
The study is expected to be
completed by November 2010.
In 2009, 4 field trips were made to
the area.
d. Slow Loris Identification Workshop held on 30 November 2009
A one day training workshop was
attended by wildlife biologists,
government officials and those who
worked with or come into contact with
slow lorises or merely had a passion for
wildlife protection.
e. Wildlife Expedition to the Northern Part of Heart of Borneo (Batu Lawi), 7-17 December
2009
50 participants from Forest Department
Sarawak and WWF Malaysia
participated in the expedition.
