Strategic Plan 2025 - 2030 | MEITD
The Ministry of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development (MEITD) plays a pivotal role in
advancing Sarawak ’s sustainable development agenda through strategic interventions in education,
innovation, and human capital development. These efforts directly contribute to achieving the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in ensuring inclusive and equitable
education, fostering innovation, promoting decent work and economic growth, and strengthening
institutional frameworks.
MEITD ’s initiatives directly align with several SDGs, particularly in education access, workforce
readiness, technological advancement, and institutional capacity building. The following table
illustrates the alignment of MEITD ’s key focus areas with relevant SDGs and impact areas:
