Visitor Statistics To National Parks, Nature Reserves, Wildlife Sanctuaries and Wildlife
Rehabilitation Centres.
For the year 2012, statistics show 431,505 visitors at the National Parks, Nature Reserves, Wildlife
Sanctuaries, and Wildlife Rehabilitation Centres in Sarawak. Out of 431,505 visitors, 311,645 were
locals and 119,860 were foreigners. The month of September recorded the highest number of visitors
totaling 47,209. Among the 16 parks in Sarawak, Samajaya Nature Reserves recorded the highest
number of visitors, mostly the locals totaling 126,901 whereas Semenggoh Wildlife Centre recorded
