CUstOMer serViCe
Customer Service Section provides services pertaining to application for water supply and transfer or
closing of accounts and handling of customers’ complaints. 2,764 new services were installed in the year,
bringing the total number of connections at the end of the year to 79,250. Out of this number, only 67,642
are active accounts, which the rest were temporarily disconnected either on-request by the customers or
due to non-payment.

There was a net increase of 2 % of active customer accounts over the previous year. The composition of
the active accounts is as follows:
