Overview

MEITD plays a strategic advisory and coordinating role in assisting the Premier of Sarawak in
shaping, implementing, and advancing state-level research and development (R&D) policies.
This function ensures that R&D efforts are aligned with Sarawak ’s long-term socio-economic
goals, regulatory frameworks, and global best practices.
