S TIDC attained 5-Star Rating and
emerged the overall champion
among the Sarawak Government
Ministries, Departments and Agencies for
Excellent Financial Management based on
Accountability Index 2016 by the National
Audit Department.
The rating aimed to benchmark the
accountability and integrity of CEOs/
Controlling Officers in financial
management to ensure compliance to
SOP. Accountability Index is part of KPI Excellent financial management entails the The audit session focused on nine main

I n spearheading the advancement of the
wood-based industry in Sarawak, STIDC
strives to ensure continuous improvement
through various initiatives for common good.
One of the initiatives taken was the launching of the
corporate facebook on 29 August 2017.
General Manager, Datu Haji Sarudu Haji Hoklai
highlighted that the facebook aims to keep its clients
abreast with the latest information on corporate
activities, policies and services. It also serves as a
platform to foster rapport and to receive feedbacks
from stakeholders particularly industry players.
