Future-Ready Workforce for Sustainable
Development

The Ministry of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development (MEITD) envisions a future-ready
workforce that is highly skilled, adaptable, and equipped to meet the demands of emerging industries
and an evolving global economy. Through a strong focus on human capital development, innovation,
and lifelong learning, MEITD is committed to driving Sarawak’s transformation into a competitive,
knowledge-based economy. This vision is anchored in the principles of sustainable development,
ensuring that economic progress goes hand-in-hand with social inclusivity and environmental
responsibility, and is fully aligned with the goals of Sarawak’s Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy
(PCDS) 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
