Development of Sarawak's Infrastructure

Sarawak's major towns and cities are well connected, despite the State’s vastness and relative inaccessibility. Sarawak has modern and fully equipped port and airport facilities for international and domestic linking, as well as a road network system connecting all the State’s major towns to the state of Sabah as well as Brunei and Indonesia. Ninety-nine per cent of the State is expected to have electricity supply under the 10th Malaysia Plan (10MP) and 95 per cent of Sarawak’s households would have treated water supply.
