Malaysia is the host for the 16^th World Congress on Information Technology or better known as WCIT 2008 which will be held from 18^th -22^nd May 2008 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This global event is held every two years for business networking and the exchange of policies, ideas and technology.

The theme of this event is The Global Impact of Information Technology and Communications Technology: Enable businesses, Empower societies, Enrich economies.

Our State is participating as one of the State partners where it will allow us to make full use of WCIT 2008 as a platform to promote tourism industry and to attract potential foreign investors.
